Huntingdon Valley, PA - The Fredericks Company has announced the release of VacuGuard, a new battery operated digital instrument, designed to power and read thermocouple vacuum sensors.
This innovative low cost product will operate all Televac type 2A thermocouple sensors as well as those from competitor companies. Its major features include a large digital display that does not wash out in sunlight, a low battery power indicator and a three position sensor selector. The instrument will operate for more than 60 hours from an inexpensive single use battery. VacuGuard will also operate from an optional NiCd battery.
VacuGuard’s ruggedness, small size and light weight makes it ideal for use by field service technicians.
Applications for the VacuGuard include -
• Bulk cryogenic gas storage and transit vessels
• Mechanical vacuum pumps and pumping systems
• Vacuum jacketed high purity process gas delivery manifolds
