New VacuMini Sensor
Huntingdon Valley, PA - The Fredericks Company has announced the release of VacuMini, a new low cost miniature vacuum sensor, based upon a family of rugged and reliable vacuum sensors produced by its Televac division for more than a half-century.
This innovative thermocouple sensor has a measurement range of 20 torr (20,000 microns) to 1 millitorr (1 micron). The body material is 304 stainless steel. The VacuMini is equipped with a tethered Mil-Spec rated weather cap that will protect its electrical contacts from moisture and environmental dirt. Like all Televac thermocouple sensors, the VacuMini is produced with a proprietary process that ensures unit to unit performance repeatability. The VacuMini’s dimensions (without weather cap) is 5/8” diameter x 1 7/8” long. The weather cap adds 3/8” to the length.
Applications for the VacuMini include:
• Bulk cryogenic gas storage and transit vessels
• Mechanical vacuum pumps and pumping systems
• Vacuum jacketed high purity process gas delivery manifolds
