Televac 3D Miniature B/A Sensor is a fraction of the volume of traditional glass envelope sensors and, as a consequence, provides a much faster response time to changes in pressure when close-coupled to the vacuum chamber. It performs similarly to nude ion gauges but unlike nude gauges, the 3D is fully enclosed in a protective stainless steel body. Its performance at UHV is enhanced by an ultra-low X-ray limit.
